Somehow I still haven’t been to Kolkata, but it’s nice knowing that there is a place in the world where I can communicate with as if I’m a local. I have yet to travel to a city outside of Bangladesh where my native tongue is useful. I am very much looking forward to the day I can walk through Kolkata, just learning the subcontinent’s history and eating street food.
